Dvě velké olejomalby vystavené v roce 1917 v Penguin Clubu při příležitosti vorticistické výstavy v New Yorku a zakoupené Johnem Quinnem, byly později ztraceny, ale radikální povaha Robertsova kubistického stylu je doložena obrazem The Toe Dancer (ve vlastnictví Victoria and Albert Museum) a nedávno nově objeveným obrazem Boxers – oba obrazy byly vystaveny uměleckou skupinou The London Group v roce 1915.

Two large-scale oil paintings exhibited in the 1917 Penguin Club Vorticist exhibition in New York, and purchased by John Quinn, were subsequently lost, but the radical nature of Roberts's "Cubist style" is evidenced by The Toe Dancer (owned by the Victoria and Albert Museum) and the recently rediscovered Boxers – both exhibited with the London Group in 1915.
