Dotčená entita se jim musí jevit jako součást mateřského subjektu, tedy že „ačkoliv vědí, že v případě potřeby existuje právní vazba na mateřský subjekt, jehož správní ústředí se nachází v zahraničí, nemusí se obracet přímo na tento mateřský subjekt, ale mohou sjednat obchod v místě podnikání, které představuje detašované pracoviště“(55).
