وتتفق اللجنة التوجيهية لفريق أوتاوا مع التوصيفات التي وضعها الفريق العامل المشترك بين الأمانات (انظر المرفق) للدور الذي يضطلع به كل من الفريق العامل المشترك بين الأمانات وفريق أوتاوا والاجتماعات المشتركة للجنة الاقتصادية لأوروبا ومنظمة العمل الدولية بشأن الأرقام القياسية لأسعار الاستهلاك.

The Ottawa Group steering committee concurs with the descriptions developed by the Intersecretariat Working Group (see annex) of the respective roles of the Intersecretariat Working Group, the Ottawa Group and the joint ECE/ILO consumer price index meetings.
