القيام، في كافة أنواع الطقس وفي أي وقت من أوقات النهار، بكشف وتقييم حجم الانسكابات النفطية التي تظهر على سطح البحر في أعقاب حوادث ناقلات النفط أو الإفراغ المتعمّد للنفط، وذلك بواسطة البيانات الواردة من الأجسام الفضائية الحاملة لرادارات ذات فتحة تركيبية من نوع "Arkon-2"؛
