وتشير الإحصاءات المبينة إلى أن الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة البدنية، الذين تشكل نسبتهم 51 في المائة، يمثلون أوسع مجموعة مقارنة بسائر المجموعات، فيما تبلغ نسبة الإعاقة الفكرية 22 في المائة، والإعاقة السمعية 14 في المائة والبصرية 13 في المائة.
