أن توفّر الدعم المالي والسياسي الضروري، بالقدر الممكن، لاستقصاء مدى انتشار زراعة شُجيرة الكوكا وخشخاش الأفيون والقنّب ورصده والتحقّق منه، في مواقع هذه الزراعة داخل البيوت وخارجها، اتساقا مع أحكام الاتفاقيات الدولية لمراقبة المخدرات ومكافحتها، وأن تتشارك في هذه المعلومات مع الوكالات الدولية المعنية ومع سائر الحكومات، بغية زيادة التعاون بشأن استئصال هذه المحاصيل وبشأن التنمية البديلة، بما في ذلك حيثما يكون مناسبا بشأن التنمية البديلة الوقائية، وفقا لخصوصيّات كل بلد أو منطقة؛

Provide the necessary financial and political support, to the extent possible, to survey, monitor and verify the extent of coca bush, opium poppy and cannabis cultivation, both in indoor and outdoor cultivation sites, consistent with international drug control conventions, and share this information with relevant international agencies and other Governments with a view to increasing cooperation on drug crop eradication and on alternative development, including, where appropriate, on preventive alternative development, in accordance with the specificities of each country or region;
