ولاحظت المقررة الخاصة أيضا في التقرير المقدّم إلى مجلس حقوق الإنسان أنّ إعادة ضحية الاتجار إلى بلده الأصلي قد لا تكون من الأشكال الملائمة للانتصاف لأنّه قد يكون فقد الصلات القانونية أو الثقافية أو الاجتماعية مع بلد المنشأ ولم يعد من مصلحته العودة إليه.

The Special Rapporteur also noted in the Human Rights Council report that returning a trafficked person to his or her country of origin may not be an appropriate form of remedy where he or she has lost legal, cultural or social ties with the country of origin and it is no longer in his or her best interest to return to it.

La Rapporteure spéciale a noté aussi dans le rapport au Conseil des droits de l’homme que le rapatriement d’une victime de la traite dans son pays d’origine peut ne pas être une forme appropriée de dédommagement quand il/elle a perdu tout lien juridique, culturel ou social avec le pays d’origine et qu’il n’est plus de son intérêt bien compris d’y retourner.

В своем докладе Совету по правам человека Специальный докладчик также отметила, что возвращение лица, пострадавшего от торговли людьми, в страну его происхождения является неподходящей формой правовой защиты в том случае, если оно потеряло юридические, культурные или социальные связи со страной своего происхождения и возвращение туда не отвечает его интересам.
