With regard to the proposed abolishment of one position of Chief of Development and Humanitarian Affairs (D-1) and one position of Senior Programme Officer (P-5) (ibid., para. 99), the Advisory Committee was informed upon enquiry that the functions associated with those positions would henceforth be assumed by the Development Operations Coordination Office and a newly established in-country presence of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, respectively.
