Provided is an input device comprising: a detection unit which is activated by tapping on the body of the user, and which detects as detection data vibrations transmitted through the body of the user; and an input information identification unit that refers to detection data, and identifies a tap position on the basis of a change in the detection data according to the physical values of body tissue at the tap position, and outputs an operation command assigned to the identified tap position.
