A method and system for determining the resistance (236) of a winding (110) insulation includes applying a pulsed voltage having a maximum value and a minimum value to the winding (110) insulation. The values of the maximum and minimum current flowing through the winding (110) insulation are determined, and the winding (110) insulation resistance (236) is calculated based on the difference between the maximum and minimum current.

L'invention porte sur un procédé et un système déterminant la résistance de l'isolant d'un enroulement consistant: à lui appliquer une tension pulsée présentant une valeur maximale et une valeur minimale, puis à mesurer les valeurs maximales et minimales du courant traversant l'isolant, dont on tire la résistance de l'isolant en fonction de la différence entre les valeurs maximale et minimale du courant.
