في الجلسة العامة السابعة المعقودة في 3 أيار/مايو 2000، وبعد أن نظر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في الطلبين المقدمين من المركز الإنمائي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ ومصرف التنمية للبلدان الأمريكية، قرر المجلس عملا بالمادة 79 من نظامه الداخلي أنه يمكن للمنظمتين المشاركة، على أساس مستمر ودون أن يكون لهما حق التصويت، في مداولات المجلس بخصوص المسائل التي تدخل في نطاق أنشطتهما.

At its 7th plenary meeting, on 3 May 2000, the Economic and Social Council, having considered the applications of the Asian and Pacific Development Centre and the Inter-American Development Bank, decided, in accordance with rule 79 of the rules of procedure of the Council, that the organizations might participate on a continuing basis, without the right to vote, in the deliberations of the Council on questions within the scope of their activities.

En su séptima sesión plenaria, celebrada el 3 de mayo de 2000, el Consejo Económico y Social, tras haber examinado las solicitudes del Centro de Desarrollo de Asia y el Pacífico y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo decidió, de conformidad con el artículo 79 del reglamento del Consejo, que las organizaciones podrían participar a título permanente, sin derecho de voto, en las deliberaciones del Consejo en cuestiones dentro del ámbito de sus actividades.

À sa 7e séance plénière, le 3 mai 2000, le Conseil économique et social, ayant examiné les demandes du Centre de développement pour l’Asie et le Pacifique et de la Banque interaméricaine de développement, a décidé, conformément à l’article 79 de son règlement intérieur, que ces organisations pourraient participer à titre permanent, sans droit de vote, à ses délibérations sur les questions relevant de leur domaine d’activité.

На своем 7‐м пленарном заседании 3 мая 2000 года Экономический и Социальный Совет, рассмотрев заявления Центра развития стран Азии и Тихого океана и Межамериканского банка развития, постановил в соответствии с правилом 79 правил процедуры Совета, что эти организации могут участвовать без права голоса на непрерывной основе в заседаниях Совета, входящих в сферу их деятельности.
