Inside the Cathedral, built in 1492 at the will of Pius III, this refined environment was frescoed by Pinturicchio between 1502 and 1507 with episodes of the life of Enea Silvio Piccolomini (Pius II) and the beautiful Crowning of Pius III.

In de kathedraal, gebouwd in 1492 in opdracht van Pio III, werd deze verfijnde ruimte van fresco's voorzien door Pinturicchio tussen 1502 en 1507 met episodes uit het leven van Enea Silvio Piccolomini (Pio III), met bijvoorbeeld het mooie Kroning met de Artikelen van het geloof en ook het magnifieke doopfont, tussen 1417 en 1431 door Donatello, Lorenzo Ghiberti en Jacopo della Quercia gemaakt.
