IST)- Super Cyclonic Storm AMPHAN over Westcentral Bay of Bengal: Cyclone Warning for West Bengal and north Odisha coasts: RED Message The Super Cyclonic Storm AMPHAN (pronounced as UM-PUN) over Northwest Bay of Bengal moved north-northeastwards with a speed of 22 kmph during past 06 hours and lay centred at 0830 hrs IST of today, the 20th May, 2020 as an Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm over Northwest Bay of Bengal near latitude 19.8N and longitude 87.7E, about 120 km east-southeast of Paradip (Odisha), 200 km south of Digha (West Bengal) and 360 km southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh).
