President Bernardita Reyes Churchill, as national convener, officially announced that the 30 th National Conference on Local and National History annually being organized by the Philippine National Historical Society, Inc. with cooperation of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, will be held on October 22-24, 2009 at the Main Audio Visual Hall of Holy Name Univeraity in Tagbilaran City in Bohol. The Conference theme is “Towards a National History: Local History in the Context of National History,” which has all these years been the thrust of PNHS Conferences.
