Lima, the capital of Peru, is no stranger to this phenomenon. While street performers are sometimes dislodged from commercial spaces and certain areas of the city’s historic center by the police, most of Lima’s musicians enjoy a good deal of freedom in plying their trade and earning a few bucks.
