The Plan on Empowerment of Women (PEW) under the terms of the 10th NPESD focuses on women in general, both with and without disabilities, with the objective to change negative attitudes towards women and to encourage gender equality, increasing women’s opportunity to be included in the decision-making process in political, economic and administration fields, health and hygiene, reproductive rights, and security in life.

El Plan de Empoderamiento de la Mujer, en el marco del décimo Plan Nacional de Desarrollo Económico y Social, se centra en las mujeres en general (con o sin discapacidad) y tiene por objeto cambiar las actitudes negativas con respecto a las mujeres y fomentar la igualdad de género, de forma que aumenten las posibilidades de las mujeres de participar en los procesos de toma de decisiones de carácter político, económico y administrativo, así como en materia de salud e higiene, derechos reproductivos y seguridad en la vida.

Le plan d’autonomisation des femmes mis en œuvre dans le cadre du dixième plan national de développement est axé sur les femmes en général, atteintes ou non d’un handicap. Il vise à changer les attitudes négatives à l’égard des femmes et à promouvoir l’égalité entre les sexes par une intégration plus forte des femmes dans les processus de décision politique, économique et administratif et en matière de santé, d’hygiène, de droits de la procréation et de sécurité.
