وجمهورية الرأس الأخضر راغبة في القيام بكل شيء ممكن، وعلى وجه الخصوص في تنفيذ التوصيات ذات الصلة الصادرة عن لجنة حقوق الطفل والواردة في التقرير الوطني الأول للرأس الأخضر، لضمان أن يكون بوسع أطفال الرأس الأخضر أن يتمتعوا بحماية كاملة لتنميتهم الصحيحة، سواء من الناحية الجسدية أو الفكرية.
