Thus, on 20 November 2008, the Chairman sent a letter to the Government of the Sudan concerning arms embargo notification and compliance, offensive military overflights, Government aircraft that could possibly be confused with aircraft owned by international organizations such as the United Nations, the Panel’s work on the ground, and the travel ban and assets freeze.
