وقال إن وفده يعيد التأكيد على ضرورة تكاتف الجهود الجماعية من أجل قيام عالم خالٍ من الإرهاب، وهو ما يستدعي اتباع نهج بعيد عن التسييس والانتقائية والمعايير المزدوجة، والتوصل إلى وضع تعريف قانوني متفق عليه لتعريف الإرهاب يستبعد تماماً جميع محاولات الربط بين الإرهاب وبين كفاح الشعوب الرازحة تحت الاحتلال في سعيها لممارسة حقها في تقرير مصيرها ونيل استقلالها، وهو الحق الذي يكفله القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، ويتأسس عليه النظام الدولي القائم.

His delegation reiterated the need for collective efforts towards a world free of terrorism, which required an approach devoid of politicization, selectivity and double standards and the development of an agreed legal definition of terrorism that eschewed all attempts to establish a link between terrorism and the struggle of peoples under occupation to exercise their right of self-determination and obtain their independence, a right enshrined in international law and the Charter and a cornerstone of the existing international order.

La delegación del orador reitera la necesidad de esfuerzos colectivos para avanzar hacia un mundo libre de terrorismo, lo que requiere un enfoque desprovisto de politización, selectividad y dobles raseros, así como la necesidad de convenir en una definición jurídica del terrorismo que evite todo intento por establecer un vínculo entre el terrorismo y la lucha de los pueblos sometidos a ocupación para ejercer su derecho a la libre determinación y obtener su independencia, derecho consagrado en el derecho internacional y en la Carta, y una piedra de toque del ordenamiento internacional existente.

La délégation syrienne réitère la nécessité d’une action collective pour aboutir à un monde libéré du terrorisme, ce pour quoi il faut éviter toute politisation ou sélectivité et de faire deux poids deux mesures, et mettre au point une définition juridique du terrorisme qui ne lie pas celui-ci à la lutte que mènent les peuples sous occupation pour exercer leur droit à l’autodétermination et obtenir leur indépendance, un droit consacré par le droit international et la Charte et la pierre angulaire de l’ordre international en vigueur.

Делегация страны оратора вновь подтверждает необходимость в коллективных усилиях в целях построения мира, свободного от терроризма, для чего требуется проявить подход, свободный от политизации, избирательности и двойных стандартов, и выработать согласованное юридическое определение терроризма, не допускающее никаких попыток установить связь между терроризмом и борьбой народов, находящихся под оккупацией, за осуществление своего права на самоопределение и обретение независимости — права, закрепленного в международном праве и Уставе и являющегося краеугольным камнем существующего международного порядка.

叙利亚代表团重申,必须作出集体努力,争取实现一个没有恐怖主义的世界,这需要采取一种非政治化、无选择性和没有双重标准的做法,并商定恐怖主义的法律定义,摒弃在恐怖主义与处于被占领之下人民争取行使自决权和争取独立的斗争两者间建立联系的做法,因为自决权是国际法和《宪章》所规定的权利,也是现行国际秩序的基石。
