ويهتم على الخصوص بما يخلّفه على المساواة الجنسانية (المعرّفة بمعناها الواسع أنها تشمل المساواة في الحصول على الموارد وفي صنع القرار، والسلامة البدنية والتحرر من العنف) التداخل بين الدين والسياسة ويبحث كيفية اشتراك النساء بصورة فردية وجماعية في إنتاج التقاليد الدينية وإعادة تفسيرها وفي تحويلها وفي تحدى استعمال الدين من طرف شتى العناصر الفاعلة لخدمة مصالحها الخاصة.

It is particularly concerned with the effects on gender equality (defined broadly to embrace equality in access to resources and decision-making, bodily integrity and freedom from violence) of the interface between religion and politics, and examines how women, individually and collectively, both engage in the contemporary reproduction, reinterpretation and transformation of religious traditions, and challenge the use of religion by different actors to advance their own interests.

En el proyecto se analizan especialmente los efectos de la interrelación entre religión y política sobre la igualdad entre los géneros (definida en términos amplios en el sentido de que abarca la igualdad en el acceso a los recursos y la adopción de decisiones, la integridad física y la ausencia de violencia), y se examina la forma en que las mujeres, individual y colectivamente, participan en la reproducción, reinterpretación y transformación contemporáneas de las tradiciones religiosas y cuestionan la utilización de la religión que realizan diferentes agentes en beneficio de sus propios intereses.

Il porte en particulier sur les effets sur l’égalité des sexes (définie au sens large comme comprenant l’égalité d’accès aux ressources et aux prises de décisions, l’intégrité physique et le droit d’être à l’abri de la violence) de cette articulation entre religion et politique, et examine la façon dont les femmes participent, à titre individuel et collectif, à la reproduction contemporaine, à la réinterprétation et à la transformation des traditions religieuses et contestent à la fois l’usage que différents acteurs font de la religion pour faire valoir leurs propres intérêts.

В этом проекте особо рассматриваются последствия переплетения религии и политики для гендерного равенства (дается широкое определение, включая равный доступ к ресурсам и возможностям участия в принятии решений, физическую неприкосновенность и свободу от насилия) и рассматривается вопрос о том, каким образом женщины, индивидуально и коллективно, участвуют в современном воспроизводстве, реинтерпретации и изменении религиозных традиций, и ставится под сомнение обоснованность использования различными субъектами религии для продвижения своих собственных интересов.
