ولتجنب هذه المشاكل، لعله يُستحسن إعادة صياغة الجملة على النحو التالي: "خلال نزاع مسلح، يكون كل جزء من البيئة الطبيعية، ما لم يشكل هدفاً عسكرياً" محترماً ومحمياً، ووفقاً لقواعد القانون الدولي السارية المفعول؛ وبالتالي، يستعاض عن عبارة "consistent with" (تمشياً مع) بعبارة "in accordance with applicable rules of" (وفقاً للقواعد المعمول بها من) في النسخة الإنكليزية.

Perhaps such problems could be avoided by redrafting the sentence to read: “During an armed conflict, each part of the natural environment, if not a military objective, should be respected and protected in accordance with applicable rules of international law”, replacing the words “consistent with” with the phrase “in accordance with applicable rules of”.

Para evitar esos problemas, tal vez se podría modificar la frase como sigue: “Durante un conflicto armado, cada parte del medio ambiente natural, si no constituye un objetivo militar, será respetada y protegida de conformidad con las normas aplicables de derecho internacional”, sustituyendo “consistent with” por “in accordance with applicable rules of” en la versión inglesa.

Во избежание этих проблем можно было бы изменить данную фразу следующим образом: «Во время вооруженного конфликта каждая часть природной среды, если она не является военным объектом, уважается и защищается согласно применимым нормам международного права», т.е. заменить в тексте на английском языке слова «consistent with» словами «in accordance with applicable rules of».
