En el marco del proyecto POLYCITY serán construidos hasta 2009 un total de 178,000 m2 de edificios residenciales y comerciales, cuya energía será suministrada por una unidad de cogeneración por biomasa de 1 MWel y 6.3 MWth, una planta fototermica de 200 m2 y 70 kW de módulos fotovoltaicos integrados a edificios.
