وفي هذا السياق، أبلغ ممثلو الأمين العام اللجنة أن إجمالي الاشتراكات المقررة في إطار الميزانية العادية قد ارتفع على مدى فترات السنتين الخمسة الماضية، وهو ما يتسق مع اتجاه الزيادة في التمويل المعتمد للميزانية العادية وما يتصل بها من نفقات، على النحو المبين في الجدول 2.

In this context, the Committee was informed by the representatives of the Secretary-General that, overall, the assessed contributions under the regular budget had increased over the past five bienniums, which was consistent with the trend of increases in the approved funding for the regular budget and related expenditure, as reflected in table 2.
