At the legislative level, the Constituent Assembly and the Legislation and Oversight Commission — the institution entrusted with exercising the powers of the National Assembly until the establishment of the latter in August 2009 — drew up the basic laws for promoting equality, such as the Reform Act on Tax Equity in Ecuador, the Organic Act on Elections and Political Organizations, the Organic Act reforming the Organic Act on the Civil Service and Public Administration and Standardization and Harmonization of Public Sector Remuneration and the Labour Code, the Organic Act on Food Sovereignty and the Act reforming the Code of Criminal Procedure.

A nivel legislativo, la Asamblea Constituyente como la Comisión de Legislación y Fiscalización, que es la institución que ostenta las potestades de la Asamblea Nacional hasta su conformación en agosto de 2009, han promovido leyes fundamentales para promover la igualdad, como por ejemplo la Ley Reformatoria para la Equidad Tributaria en el Ecuador, Ley Orgánica Electoral y de Organizaciones Políticas, Ley Orgánica Reformatoria a la Ley Orgánica de Servicio Civil y Carrera Administrativa y Unificación y Homologación de las Remuneraciones del Sector Público y al Código del Trabajo; Ley Orgánica de Soberanía Alimentaria, Ley Reformatoria al Código de Procedimiento Penal, entre otras.

En matière législative, l’Assemblée constituante, comme la Commission de la législation et du contrôle − institution qui était investie des pouvoirs de l’Assemblée nationale jusqu’à la formation de cette dernière en août 2009 −, ont été à l’origine des lois fondamentales en faveur de l’égalité, comme par exemple la loi de réforme sur l’égalité fiscale, la loi organique relative aux élections et aux organisations politiques, la loi organique de réforme de la loi organique relative à la fonction publique, la carrière dans l’administration et l’unification et l’homologation des rémunérations dans le secteur public et du Code du travail, la loi organique relative à la souveraineté alimentaire ou encore la loi de réforme du Code de procédure pénale.
