وتتألف المرحلة المتوسطة من سنتين (العاشرة والحادية عشرة) في النظامين الأولين أو من ثلاث سنوات في النظام المهني، منها السنة الثانية عشرة (عملي) يحصل بعدها على شهادة الكفاءة الفنية والمهنية.
