In the Tanaro slope, as well as in the Pesio valley, there is a natural itinerary that deepens the knowledge about the great naturalistic heritage of these valleys. A great amount of high situated mountain huts (Garelli, Mondovì, Pian Rosso) make the complete tour around the massif Marguareis mountain more comfortable. The mountain hut Pian delle Gorre is situated in the middle of the park, surrounded by european silver fir tree forests belonging to the Pesio valley.

Tanto en el Valle Tanaro como en el Valle Pesio existe un recorrido naturalista equipado para conocer el grande patromonio natural de estos valles. Una red de refugios en las alturas (Garelli, Mondovì, Pian Rosso), facilita la vuelta completa del macizo del Marguareis, mientras que en el corazón del Parque, inmerso en las selvas de abeto blanco del Valle Pesio, se encuentra faunístico donde se pueden admirar en silencio los ciervos, las gamuzas y los corzos.
