Although the predominant species for this honey are the Erica cinerea, the Erica vagans and the Calluna vulgaris, many other types of heather (“uces” in Ibias) such as the Erica ciliaris, the Erica multiflora, the Erica umbellata and the Daboecia cantábrica help to give this honey body.
