There is provided an oral nasal cannula for sampling breath of a subject comprising a main body portion, comprising a suction port which is adapted to be connected to a suction device for side sampling of exhaled breath of said subject, wherein said main body portion comprises a recess adapted to support a medical tube, wherein the tube adapted to be inserted through a first nostril of said subject and a nasal prong and adapted to collect nasally exhaled breath from a second nostril of said subject, and in fluid flow communication with a nasal breath collection bore.

L'invention porte sur une canule orale/nasale pour l'échantillonnage de l'air exhalé d'un sujet comprenant une partie de corps principale, laquelle comprend un orifice d'aspiration qui est conçu pour être relié à un dispositif d'aspiration pour un échantillonnage latéral de l'air exhalé dudit sujet, ladite partie de corps principale comprenant une cavité conçue pour supporter un tube médical, le tube étant conçu pour être introduit à travers une première narine dudit sujet et une pince nasale et conçu pour la collecte de l'air exhalé par le nez à partir d'une seconde narine dudit sujet, et en communication d'écoulement fluide avec un trou de collecte d'air exhalé par le nez.
