وأرحب على وجه الخصوص بالتعميم الوزاري الذي اعتمدته حكومة مالي بشأن منع تجنيد الأطفال وحمايتهم وإلحاق الأطفال المسرحين من القوات والجماعات المسلحة بأُسرهم، كما أرحب بالبروتوكول الذي وقعته بشأن تسليم الأطفال المرتبطين بالقوات أو الجماعات المسلحة.

In particular, I welcome the adoption by the Government of an interministerial circular on the prevention, protection and reintegration into the family of children released from armed forces and armed groups, as well as the signing of the Protocol on the Release and Handover of Children Associated with Armed Forces and Groups.

En particular, acojo con beneplácito la aprobación por el Gobierno de una circular interministerial sobre la prevención del reclutamiento y utilización de niños por fuerzas y grupos armados, su protección y su reintegración en la familia una vez liberados, así como la firma del Protocolo sobre la liberación y entrega de los niños vinculados con fuerzas o grupos armados.
