نحن في اللجنة الخاصة نأمل من أعماق قلوبنا أن تسود عملية السلام في القريب العاجل وأن تستأنف مرة أخرى الخطوات على ذلك الطريق الصعب والضروري الذي لا بد أن يسلكه الجميع إذا أردنا التوصل بشكل مرض إلى سلام عادل وشامل ودائم، سلام طال انتظار جميع شعوب المنطقة له.

We, the Special Committee, most profoundly hope that the processes of peace will soon prevail and that steps again will resume along that difficult and necessary path that all must tread if a just, comprehensive and lasting peace, long awaited by all the people of the region, may be satisfactorily concluded.

Nosotros, el Comité Especial, tenemos vivas esperanzas de que el proceso de paz vuelva a imponerse pronto y que vuelvan a tomarse medidas por esa senda tan difícil pero necesaria que todos deben recorrer para poder alcanzar de manera satisfactoria una paz justa, amplia y duradera, que los pueblos de la región esperan desde hace tanto tiempo.
