"The enhanced monitoring and modeling on September 11th was used to forecast the movement of potentially toxic dust and smoke resulting from the destruction of the World Trade Center, and at the request of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Environment Canada also provided Sorbent Impregnated Filters for use by EPA scientists monitoring conditions at Ground Zero in New York City."
