Given this transformation and the challenges it raises, within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), in 2010 the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia created the School of Design and Visual Arts of Catalonia (ESDAP), which teaches the Advanced Qualification in Design (equivalent to a university degree) in the four specialities that exist to date: Graphic, Interior, Fashion and Product design.

Conscientes de esta transformación y los retos que supone, en el año 2010, el Departamento de Educación de la Generalitat de Cataluña creó, en el marco del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES), la Escuela Superior de Diseño y Artes Plásticas de Cataluña (ESDAP), donde se imparte el Título Superior de Diseño (equivalente a grado universitario) en sus cuatro especialidades desarrolladas hasta el momento: Gráfico, Interiores, Moda y Producto.
