본 발명은 엔진의 냉각수 온도에 따라 풀리와 워터펌프 구동축 간의 구동력 전달을 단속할 수 있는 워터펌프의 전자클러치에 관한 것으로 냉각수의 온도가 기준치 이상일 경우 스프링에 의하여 클러치프리 및 메인클러치가 스크류에 의하여 디스크의 양면에 접촉되게 하여 풀리의 구동력이 구동축에 전달되어 워터펌프가 작동되게 하고, 냉각수의 온도가 기준치 이하일 경우 코일에 전원을 인가하여 클러치프리가 코일에 접촉되면서 스크류에 의하여 메인클러치를 디스크에서 분리시켜 풀리의 구동력이 구동축에 전달되는 것을 차단하여 워터펌프의 작동을 정지시킬 수 있게 한 것을 특징으로 한다.
