وأسفرت الجلسة عن إعادة تأييد جميع دول المنطقة لاتفاق لوساكا لوقف إطلاق النار، وصدر بيان رئاسي تعهد فيه المجلس بتنفيذ المرحلة الثانية من مفهوم الأمين العام للعمليات في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

The session resulted in a reaffirmation of support for the Lusaka Ceasefire Agreement by all the States of the region, and a presidential statement that committed the Council to the implementation of phase II of the Secretary-General’s concept of operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

En la sesión se reafirmó el apoyo de todos los Estados de la región al acuerdo de cesación del fuego de Lusaka; en una declaración de la presidencia, el Consejo se comprometió a poner en práctica la segunda etapa del concepto del Secretario General para las operaciones en la República Democrática del Congo.

На заседании было вновь заявлено о поддержке Лусакского соглашения о прекращении огня всеми государствами региона и принято заявление Председателя, в соответствии с которым на Совет была возложена ответственность за осуществление этапа II концепции операций Генерального секретаря в Демократической Республике Конго.
