During the preparation of the Convention it was argued that the remedy should be limited to the correction of an input error, so as to reduce the risk that a party would allege an error as an excuse to withdraw from an unfavourable contract

Durante la preparación de la Convención se adujo que el recurso debería circunscribirse a la corrección del error cometido al introducir datos, a fin de disminuir el riesgo de que una parte invocara el hecho de haber cometido un error como excusa para retirarse de un contrato desfavorable
