01/10/2014: The Wide Field Imager on the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at ESO’s La Silla Observatory in Chile has taken this beautiful image, dappled with blue stars, of one of the most star-rich open clusters currently known — Messier 11, also known as NGC 6705 or the Wild Duck Cluster.

1 de Octubre de 2014: El instrumento Wide Field Imager, instalado en el telescopio MPG/ESO de 2,2 metros, en el Observatorio La Silla de ESO, en Chile, ha tomado esta hermosa imagen de uno de los cúmulos abiertos más rico en estrellas: salpicado de estrellas azules, Messier 11 también es conocido como NGC 6705 o como el Cúmulo del Pato Salvaje.
