We were at the corner, about 3 blocks down from where Lady [sic] lives, on the avenue the buses take, we saw a motorcycle and a car arrive, we didn’t know who they were, we thought they were militias, and we took off running, to the right from the corner, and then we turned left, going down two blocks, we were going around another corner when we heard shots, off to the left, we ducked into a lot, there was a car there, we hid and waited about five minutes, [...] then me and my friend Nelson Javier left [...].

Nosotros estábamos en una esquina, más o menos a tres cuadras abajo donde vive Lady [sic], por la avenida por donde vienen los buses, vimos venir una moto y un carro, nosotros no supimos de que eran, pensamos que eran de las milicias, ahí fue cuando nosotros salimos corriendo por esa cuadra de la esquina donde estábamos, a mano derecha, y volteamos a mano izquierda, bajando dos cuadras, nosotros íbamos en volteando cuando escuchamos el disparo, era a mano izquierda, del susto nos metimos en un lote en forma de tejas ya había un carro [sic], ahí nos escondimos y esperamos como cinco minutos, [...] ahí íbamos yo y mi compañero Nelson Javier [...].
