أمّا الاقتراح (A/66/6 (الباب 17))، المقرر عرضه على الجمعية العامة، من خلال اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية ولجنة البرنامج والتنسيق، فيسعى إلى زيادة بواقع وظيفتين للدعم البرنامجي وهما وظيفة موظف إداري، ووظيفة موظف للميزانية والتمويل من أجل الخدمات التي كانت تُقدَّم في السابق إلى حدٍ كبير بواسطة المكتب التنفيذي لإدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

The proposal (A/66/6 (Sect. 17)), which will be before the General Assembly, through the Advisory Committee for Administrative and Budgetary Questions and the Committee for Programme and Coordination, seeks an increase in two posts for programme support, namely one Administrative Officer and one Budget and Finance Officer, for services previously provided largely by the Executive Office of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

En el proyecto de presupuesto (A/66/6 (Sect. 17)), que tendrá ante sí la Asamblea General, por conducto de la Comisión Consultiva en Asuntos Administrativos y de Presupuesto y el Comité del Programa y de la Coordinación, se propone un aumento de dos puestos de apoyo a los programas, a saber, un Oficial Administrativo y un Oficial de Presupuesto y Finanzas, encargados de prestar servicios que anteriormente facilitaba en gran parte la Oficina Ejecutiva del Departamento de Asuntos Económicos y Sociales.

La proposition [A/66/6 (Sect. 17)], dont sera saisie l’Assemblée générale par l’intermédiaire du Comité consultatif pour les questions administratives et budgétaires et du Comité du programme et de la coordination, vise à créer deux postes au titre de l’appui aux programmes (un fonctionnaire d’administration et un fonctionnaire du budget et des finances) pour des services auparavant fournis principalement par le Service administratif du Département des affaires économiques et sociales.
