For this reason, an analysis was made of compliance with the dumping standard established by Resolution 631 of 2015 by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development for the physicochemical parameters of the effluent of 20 leather tanning companies located in the municipalities of Chocontá and Villapinzón. The results of the analysis show that the physicalchemical parameters that are within the maximum permissible values of the standard, correspond to the leather tanning industries that have discharge permits; on the other hand, the concentration of these parameters in wastewater from tanneries that do not have discharge permits exceed the limits of the norm, which leads to the generation of negative environmental effects on water quality and the aquatic ecosystem of the Bogotà river. Por esta razón se realizó un análisis del cumplimiento de la norma de vertimientos establecida mediante Resolución 631 de 2015 por el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible para los parámetros fisicoquímicos del efluente de 20 empresas de curtido de pieles ubicadas en los municipios de Chocontá y Villapinzón. Los resultados del análisis muestran que los parámetros fisicoquímicos del efluente de las curtiembres analizadas que se encuentran dentro de los valores máximos permisibles de la norma, corresponden a las industrias de curtido de pieles que cuentan con permisos de vertimientos; por el contrario, la concentración de estos parámetros en los efluentes provenientes de las curtiembres que no tienen permiso de vertimientos superan los límites de la norma, lo que conlleva a la generación de efectos ambientales negativos sobre la calidad del agua y el ecosistema acuático del río Bogotá.
