In einer prospektiven randomisierten Einfachblindstudie wurde bei 63 fortlaufend mit Phakoemulsifikation in Tunneltechnik im Alter von 52–86 Jahren operierten Kataraktpatienten ein neues Prednisolonazetat-0,5 %-GeI (Gruppe I, n = 30) gegen Prednisolonazetat-1,0 %-Augentropfen (Gruppe II, n = 33) verglichen.

The effect of a novel prednisolone acetate 0.5% gel (group I, n = 30) was compared to prednisolone acetate 1.0 % eyedrops (group II, n = 33) in a prospective single-masked clinical trial with a total of 63 patients, aged 52–86 years, following cataract surgery with phacoemulsification and tunnel technique.
