The PCI-Express type storage device comprises: a memory disk unit including a plurality of memory disks having a plurality of volatile semiconductor memories; a PCI-Express host interface unit for interfacing between the memory disk unit and a host; and a control unit which adjusts the synchronization of the data signals transmitted/received between the PCI-Express host interface unit and the memory disk unit so as to control the data transmitting/receiving speed between the PCI-Express host interface unit and the memory disk unit.
