The template editing unit displays in the attribute edit window (200) a field (205) for receiving input of an expression for computing the setting value which is displayed in the property window, and links the inputted expression to the corresponding attributes.

ユーザが属性に対する演算式を簡単に登録することができるように、画面作成装置は、テンプレートにかかる属性毎の設定値を表示するとともに設定値を編集する入力を受け付けるプロパティウインドウを表示し、プロパティウインドウが受け付けた入力を画面データに反映させる画面データ編集部と、プロパティウインドウに表示される属性を一覧表示するとともに当該一覧表示された属性を編集する入力を受け付ける属性編集ウインドウ200を表示し、属性編集ウインドウ200が受け付けた入力に基づいて属性を編集するテンプレート編集部と、を備え、テンプレート編集部は、プロパティウインドウに表示される設定値を算出するための演算式の入力を受け付けるフィールド205を属性編集ウインドウ200に表示して、入力された演算式を対応する属性に関連付ける。
