ووفقاً للمادة # من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر تدعو خطة التنفيذ التي اعتمدها مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة إلى العمل على تعزيز الأنشطة المتعلقة بمكافحة تدهور الأرض والحد منه وإصلاح الأراضي المتدهورة جزئياً واستصلاح الأراضي التي أصابها التصحر في المناطق القاحلة وشبه القاحلة والجافة شبه الرطبة من أجل المحافظة على الأرض وإصلاحها ومعالجة مشكلة الفقر الناجم عن تدهور الأرض

Pursuant to Article # of the UNCCD, the Plan of Implementation adopted by the WSSD calls for a strengthening of the prevention and/or reduction of land degradation, the rehabilitation of partly degraded land, and the reclamation of desertified land, in arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid areas, in order to maintain and restore land and to address poverty resulting from land degradation

De conformidad con el artículo # de la CLD, en el Plan de Aplicación aprobado por la Cumbre Mundial sobre el Desarrollo Sostenible se pide que se refuercen la prevención y/o la reducción de la degradación de las tierras, la rehabilitación de las tierras parcialmente degradadas y la recuperación de tierras desertificadas en zonas áridas, semiáridas y subhúmedas secas a fin de mantener y regenerar la tierra y luchar contra la pobreza resultante de la degradación del suelo

В соответствии со статьей # КБОООН План выполнения решений, принятый ВВУР, содержит призывы к активизации мер по предупреждению и/или уменьшению деградации земель, восстановлению земель, подвергшихся частичной деградации, и рекультивации земель, подвергшихся опустыниванию, в засушливых, полузасушливых и сухих полувлажных зонах, с тем чтобы сохранять и восстанавливать земли и бороться с нищетой, порождаемой ухудшающимся состоянием земель
