وتهنئ اللجنة الدولة الطرف على إنشاء الوكالة الوطنية لمنع التعذيب، التي تتألف من الوكالة الاتحادية واللجنة المشتركة بين الولايات، والتي أُسندت إليها مهمة العمل كآلية وقائية وطنية مستقلة بموجب البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

The Committee commends the establishment of the National Agency for the Prevention of Torture, composed of the Federal Agency and the Joint Commission of the Länder, which has been mandated to serve as independent national preventive mechanism under the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

El Comité expresa su satisfacción por el establecimiento del Organismo Nacional para la Prevención de la Tortura, integrado por el Organismo Federal y por la Comisión Mixta de los Länder, con el mandato de actuar como mecanismo nacional independiente de prevención, con arreglo al Protocolo Facultativo de la Convención contra la Tortura y Otros Tratos o Penas Crueles, Inhumanos o Degradantes.
