وأولت تأكيدا خاصا لرغبة اللجنة في تلقي المعلومات، الشفوية والخطية كليهما، من المنظمات غير الحكومية في إطار نظرها في تقارير الدول الأطراف، وأبرزت التعاون بين اللجنة ومكتب مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان، مشيرة إلى أنه يتعين على رئيسة اللجنة الاشتراك في الاجتماع الثاني لفريق الخبراء بشأن دمج المنظور الجنساني في أنشطة وبرامج الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان الذي تعقده شعبة النهوض بالمرأة ومكتب المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان.

She had placed particular emphasis on the Committee’s willingness to receive information, both oral and written, from non-governmental organizations in the context of its consideration of the reports of States parties and had highlighted the cooperation between the Committee and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, noting that the Chairperson of the Committee was to participate in the second expert group meeting on the integration of the gender perspective into United Nations human rights activities and programmes convened by the Division for the Advancement of Women and the Office of the High Commissioner.

Elle avait insisté en particulier sur le fait que le Comité acceptait de recevoir des informations orales et écrites d’organisations non gouvernementales dans le contexte de l’examen des rapports des États parties et avait mis en lumière la coopération entre le Comité et l’Office du Haut Commissaire aux droits de l’homme, notant que la Présidente du Comité devait participer à la deuxième réunion du groupe d’experts sur l’intégration des questions de parité hommes-femmes dans les activités et programmes des Nations Unies relatifs aux droits de l’homme, organisée par la Division de la promotion de la femme et l’Office du Haut Commissaire.

Она обратила особое внимание на стремление Комитета получать, как устную, так и письменную информацию от неправительственных организаций в контексте рассмотрения докладов государств-участников и подчеркнула сотрудничество между Комитетом и Управлением Верховного комиссара Организации Объединенных Наций по правам человека, отметив, что Председатель Комитета должен принять участие во втором заседании группы экспертов по вопросу об учете гендерной проблематики в деятельности и программах Организации Объединенных Наций в области прав человека, которое проводится Отделом по улучшению положения женщин и Управлением Верховного комиссара.
