První charakteristiku už jsem naznačil při hledání odpovědí na otázku, jak autoři Výzvy rozumějí světu, v němž žijí: umělec Výzvy se považuje za člena nejen specifické skupiny, ale také širší společnosti s jejím směnným provozem a pojetím jednotlivce, který se za spravedlivých podmínek garantovaných státem řídí rovnováhou oněch „má dáti“ a „dal“.
