وفي # كانون الأول/ديسمبر # ، أصدر مجلس الأمن بيانا رئاسيا ( # ) أيــد فيــه استنتاجات أديس أبابا وبلاغ أبوجا الصادر عن مجلس السلـم والأمن ودعا إلى تنفيذ الاستنتاجات والبلاغ دون إبطاء، كما دعا جميع الأطراف إلى تيسير النشر الفوري لمجموعتي الدعم الخفيف والقـوي المقدمتين من الأمم المتحدة لبعثة الاتحاد الأفريقي في السودان، ونشر عملية مختلطة في دارفور تقدم لها الأمم المتحدة الدعم وهياكل ونظم القيادة والمراقبة

On # ecember # the Security Council issued a presidential statement ( # ) in which it endorsed the Addis Ababa conclusions and the Abuja communiqué of the Peace and Security Council and called for their implementation without delay, also calling on all parties to facilitate the immediate deployment of the United Nations light and heavy support packages for AMIS and a hybrid operation in Darfur, for which backstopping and command and control structures and systems would be provided by the United Nations
