وأحاطت اللجنة الفرعية علما بالطلب الذي تقدّمت به الدول العربية التي هي أعضاء في لجنة الفضاء الخارجي، والداعي إلى إنشاء مركز إقليمي لتدريس علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء في غرب آسيا - باللغة العربية، يكون منتسبا إلى الأمم المتحدة.
