Bei Aufstecken einer Kupplungshülse auf den Kupplungsnippel wird über ein in Richtung der Kupplungshülse weisendes und von dieser beim Aufstecken verschobenes Koppelelement der Dichtungskörper im Innern des Kupplungsstücks von der Dichtfläche abgehoben und der Strömungspfad frei gegeben.
