The adoption of the draft will bring Ukrainian law and hence the country’s policy on preventing the spread of HIV and the treatment, care and support of people living with HIV, into line with international human rights legislation and bring it significantly closer to best practices on HIV throughout the world.

Una vez aprobado el proyecto de ley, el conjunto de normas ucranianas en materia de prevención del VIH y el tratamiento, cuidado y apoyo a las personas que viven con el virus, así como la política que se desarrolle sobre esa base, podrán ajustarse a los instrumentos internacionales sobre derechos humanos y aproximarse considerablemente a las prácticas óptimas mundiales en ese ámbito.

Принятие законопроекта позволит привести украинскую нормативно-правовую базу и проводимую через нее политику в сфере профилактики распространения ВИЧ, лечения, ухода и поддержки людей, живущих с ВИЧ, в соответствие с международными правовыми актами в сфере защиты прав человека и в значительной мере приблизить ее к лучшим мировым практикам в указанной сфере.
